Everything you need to get started, complete directions, dvd, and free gifts. I definately would buy it again.
I bought this as a gift for my boyfriend’s mom. I was overall satisfied with the purchase. The only thing I didn’t realize is that the plastic starter tray is very flimsy and cheap. It came with a good variety of seeds and she loved it. We didn’t realize it also came with laminated directions, a dvd, and some other goodies. I would definitely buy more products like this. AeroFalls Aeroponic Garden Compatible Foam Inserts
28 inserts for common aeroponic garden grow pods made from the identical, water-loving gray foam material used in original aeroponic gardens, master gardener kits and other refills, NOT, the current brown grow plugs. These foam inserts are cut to rectangles and slit to receive seeds. They are the same size, squared up, as the original inserts but have greater surface area and volume for healthier, larger plants. Measure 1.25″ X .8″ X 8″ with 0.8″ deep slit on one end for seeds. Many believe that this material provided better air and water flow than the current product, but appear to be unavailable from other sources. AeroFallsTM has them here! Low cost refills can be used with your current grow pods and labels. Special foam material has perfect combination of water wicking, air and water transport, mechanical strength (low, so the roots can grow through it), and slow decay properties for use in aeroponic systems. Seeds may be planted in a common aeroponic garden with these inserts, in either the original grow pods or in AeroFallsTM AeroCupsTM This is not ordinary foam material, it is the identical material to the aeroponic gardens original foam, and was specially developed for aeroponic gardening. Have only had this a bit over a week but so far everything is happening as forecast! Lots of oohs and aahs when people see it, and I have high hopes of being able to feed the neighborhood in another month.
This is by far the best AeroGarden plant we’ve grown so far…especially if you want to watch something grow fast.
Though a recent power outage threw off the timing of our AeroGarden…and I had to get out of bed to “turn the salad” off at night.

I bought the romaine back in January and I’m back to order another. We are a family of 5 and this fed all of us as a dinner meal many, many times. Just grilled up some chicken, boiled some eggs and added the croutons. Plus putting several leaves on sandwiches and such. I used to buy a bag of romaine at the store paying around $3 per bag a couple times per week. I must say, using the aerogarden is a cost saver. The lettuce was crisp and tasted, well, like romaine.
My mother just came up from Florida, she didn’t know anything about these. One night, we had salads and she asked if she needed to wash off the leaves…nope. She then asked what needs to be done….Nothing! No worrying about pesticides or anything.
I placed my aerogarden in our laundry room which is somewhat cooler in there than the rest of the house. My only complaint is I wish I could grow cherry tomatoes at the same time I’m growing my lettuce. Read the rest of this entry »

Definately worth the money. 7 reusable pods and 21 grow sponges. 54 small nutrient tablets and 48 large nutrient tablets which can grow plants for a year. Compare this to the extended nutrient tablets packs for $15 for 3 months or consider that the $20 herb kits are designed to last 3 months and you can clearly see the value of these kits. The fact that you can choose seeds you want to grow and not be stuck with a couple of unwanted pods is great.
You expect the product to be good. The cool thing was the shipping ended up being free and it only took a couple of days to get to us. Our total out of pocket was less than retail. Besides, we were hit with some major snow and didn’t have to go out to get it.
I bought this for my son and daughter in law for christmas and they just love it! They said it was so easy to use and they love seeing the growing plants in the dead of winter and can’t wait to start tasting. Read the rest of this entry »
